The Adrian College

              Music Department

The Music Department at Adrian College offers students the opportunity to study and perform music of the highest standards. Students who plan to study music may wish to read about our degree offerings and get to know our excellent faculty. Over 180 students perform in a wide variety of ensembles which are pictured and described under bands, choirs and strings. The Music Department performs a wide array of concerts regularly throughout the year as described in our calendar. Finally, our department is affiliated with several other community arts programs, including the Adrian Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and the Lenawee Community Chorus (LCC).  We hope you enjoy learning about our department!

Cornelius House serves as the home for the Music Department. Rehearsal and performance halls are located across campus in the Dawson/Spencer complex (not pictured - read about our New Building.) Cornelius House provides classrooms, offices, and teaching studios for our faculty and students. On the main floor, there is a large living room with comfortable couches, a fireplace and a grand piano. On the top floor is a MIDI keyboard lab, a SmartMusic Lab,  and practice rooms.  Come visit our campus and see why we like to call this place "home."
